What is Revise?
Revise is a personalised ATAR revision platform built for Australian senior secondary students. It combines expert-written courses, adaptive practice, timed assessments, spaced-repetition flashcards, goal tracking, and a study planner — all in one place. -
How is Revise different from a tutor or YouTube?
Revise knows what you know. Our adaptive engine tracks every answer and adjusts which questions you see, so you spend time on your genuine weak spots rather than content you've already mastered. Tutors and YouTube can't do that at scale. -
Does Revise work on mobile?
Yes. The platform is fully responsive and works on any modern phone or tablet browser. A dedicated iOS app is on the roadmap. -
Can I use Revise if I'm not in Year 12?
Absolutely. Most content covers both Year 11 and Year 12 curriculum. Students starting early consistently outperform those who join in Term 3 of Year 12.

How much does Revise cost?
Student subscriptions start at $19.90/month or $149/year. School licensing is priced per student cohort — contact us for a quote. A free 7-day trial is available; no credit card required. -
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time from your account settings and take effect at the end of the billing period. Annual plans are non-refundable after 14 days. -
Does my school need to pay, or can I just sign up myself?
Either. Students can sign up directly for an individual plan. Schools can also purchase class or year-group access with centralised billing and teacher reporting. -
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 7 days, full access, no credit card required. You can explore every subject and feature before committing.

Which subjects does Revise cover?
Revise covers all major WACE and HSC ATAR subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths Methods, English, Economics, Psychology, Human Biology, Health & PE, and Business Management. New subjects are added every semester. -
Is the content aligned to the WACE/HSC syllabus?
Yes. Every course is mapped to the current SCSA (WA) or NESA (NSW) syllabus and reviewed when curricula change. Our authors include active examiners from both bodies. -
Who writes the content?
All content is written by curriculum specialists — mostly active or former classroom teachers and SCSA/NESA examiners. We do not use AI to generate questions or explanations. -
How often is the content updated?
Major syllabus changes trigger a full review cycle. We also patch individual questions whenever users or authors flag inaccuracies — usually within 48 hours.

School licensing

How does school licensing work?
Schools purchase access for a year group or subject cohort. Teachers get a portal to assign work, track progress, and export reports. Students sign in with their school email and access the full platform. -
Can we integrate Revise with our LMS?
We support LTI 1.3 integration with Canvas and Google Classroom for assignment push and grade passback. Integrations with other LMSes are available on request for large deployments. -
Do you offer a free school trial?
Yes — contact us and we'll set up a 30-day trial for one year group at no cost. No procurement sign-off needed for the trial period. -
Is Revise GDPR/APPs compliant?
Revise is compliant with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (APPs) and the Privacy Amendment (Notifiable Data Breaches) Act. We support DPA sign-off for schools that require it. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What data does Revise collect?
We collect account details (name, email, role), study activity (sessions, answers, scores), and basic technical logs (IP address, browser) for security. We never collect sensitive health or financial data. -
Is student data sold to third parties?
Never. Student data is used solely to operate the platform and improve the learning experience. We do not sell data to advertisers or data brokers. -
Can I request my data to be deleted?
Yes. Send a deletion request to privacy@reviseonline.com.au and we'll process it within 30 days. You can also export your data from My Account before requesting deletion. -
Where is data stored?
All data is stored in AWS Sydney (ap-southeast-2). No data leaves Australia except for the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy, each of which has a Data Processing Agreement in place.

How do I contact support?
Use the form on our Contact page or visit the support portal at reviseonline.freshdesk.com. We aim to respond within one business day for all tickets. -
What if I forget my password?
Click "Forgot password" on the login page. A reset link is sent to your registered email address within 60 seconds. -
Can I sign in with Google?
Yes — click "Sign in with Google" on the login page. Your Google account email must match your registered Revise email, or a new account will be created. -
What browsers are supported?
Revise works on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari (version 15+). We recommend Chrome or Edge for the best experience with timed assessments.
